Principles of Carrier Technology

Basic Function of the Carrier

  1. It mixes with toner and, through stirring and friction, imparts an appropriate charge to the toner.
  2. It uses electrostatic interaction to transfer the toner to the surface of the photosensitive drum for developing the image.
  3. It ensures the stable delivery of toner and supports the high-speed operation of the machine.

 

Development Trends of the Carrier

  1. Low density, high resistance, and smaller particle size.
  2. High-speed operation, longer lifespan, and higher image resolution.
